Governance, compliance and ethics

Twenty years in security and compliance, applied to AI.

Ludus Technology is new. The experience behind it is not. I have spent more than two decades in cybersecurity, systems engineering and regulated delivery — long before the current wave of AI — and that is why governance here is part of every recommendation rather than a document written after the fact.

The ethical part is not a slide at the end. It decides what I agree to recommend.

  • No AI Slop. The people affected by a system should be able to know a system was involved.
  • No full autonomy over irreversible actions. Payments, deletions, filings and external communications stop for a human decision.
  • No automated decisions about people without a route to a person. Hiring, credit, access and discipline stay assisted, never automatic.
  • No dark patterns, no manipulative design, no engagement for its own sake.
  • I say when AI is the wrong tool. Sometimes the honest answer is a checklist, a fixed rule, or nothing at all — and I would rather lose the work than recommend the wrong thing.
